An ancient RNA-guided system could simplify delivery of gene editing therapies
Scientists at MIT's McGovern Institute and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard have discovered ancient RNA-guided systems called TIGR (Tandem Interspaced Guide RNA) that could potentially expand the genome editing toolbox. These findings were reported in the journal Science on February 27, 2025
